Cold tolerance to temperatures as low as 15˚F for short periods of time. This is a dense evergreen with veined, glossy, leathery leaves. This is a strong producer of medium sized pear shaped fruit that mature July through November. The fruit won't begin to ripen until after you harvest it from the tree; the ripe skin will remain green.
